way to relieve stress and anxiety?
im looking for a pill that is otc that can relieve stress and anxiety and relax you.
i dont want to hear about tea because tea makes me sick or herbal products.. i just want to know what kind of OTC medications i can use to relieve stress and anxiety and to relax me
You might consider a doc’s advice, but in the mean time, buy some sleep meds, and break them in quarters for relaxation, and only take them when you are at home.
Turn off the TV, radio, noises of all kinds. Close your eyes and concentrate on breathing. Slowly, thoroughly, deliberately, and feel yourself relax.

ive had the best luck with l-theanine so far. you can buy it over the counter at a health food store. nowbrands makes a good version, which i use. it doesnt make you drowsy, just calmer. b vitamins (emergen-c is a good source) are also good for stress relief (b vitamins get depleted quickly during times of stress). you should be able to find emergen-c packets at a regular grocery store.
avoid excess caffeine and sugar intake; they can make stress and anxiety symptoms worse.
addressing whatever in your life is causing stress and anxiety may work best in the long run.

You really should not take a pill to relieve stress. You could get addicted and it wouldn’t be good. What i do is take long hot baths before i go to bed. It really helps. I also like to go down to a creek by my house just to think. The best way to relieve stress is to exercise. Bike riding is great!

Why dont u join our group, its not a ploy to sell u anything we are just a group of people who suffer anxiety and panic attacks and we share our experiences, tips, etc, and there are some breathing technics that i think u will find helpfull

I don’t know if such a product exists! Unless you just want to pick up some Tylenol PM or Unisom! That’s not really going to solve your problem though and might create more if you become reliant on them. Since you don’t want to hear about herbal or natural products, I’m not sure what to suggest. There are plenty of natural remedies: kava, valerian, milk thistle, HRT-5 - not to mention exercise, yoga, guided relaxation CD’s - There are also a number of prescription meds that are effective - but you appear to be looking for a "quick fix". Having experienced anxiety myself for a while now, I can tell you with some certainty that there is none! I wish you the best of luck anyway.

to relieve stress, try to think about positive things, remember beautiful events you experienced.
you can try auto-hypnosis, too, it can be very effective
relaxing music, can help
try use anti-stress plants and herbs, it’s a natural way to cure stress
