Has anyone used anything for pre-menopause that has really been effective without a prescription?

I am 47 and do believe that I am pre-menopausal. I really have a hard time with my emotions and am driving my boy friend just crazy…bless his heart! I take an antidepressant, Welbutrin XL, but it just doesn’t seem to take the edge off. It doesn’t seem like an all the time thing, but then it could be. I know it is very overwhelming. Any suggestions of herbal or homeopathic remedies? Thanks

You might want to try the all natural Menopause Balance Complex. It contains a standardized extract of Black Cohosh as well as Soy Isoflavones and Flaxseed. Also contains a proprietary phytoestrogen blend of dong quai, red clover and licorice. Contains no artificial colors or flavors and no synthetic preservatives.

A good friend of mine takes the Menopause Balance Complex
and she says that if she lets herself run out of the supplement her family really notices because of her mood change. Her daughter will say to her "Mom, have you run out of that menopause stuff?"

Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me for questions.

I haven’t but I hear that St. John’s Wort is excellent but you have to take it regularly. Also, if you are really on edge, my friend who works at a mental health hospital says to take ONE Benedryl.

Absolutely! There is a fabulous product called Frutaiga and many women, including myself, are seeing an improvement in symptoms of menopause. I’m almost 53 and have been experiencing symptoms for a couple of years now but they just recently started getting intense. Frutaiga is made up of 4 botanical compounds that grow in Siberia and the Russian Georgian Republic. You will also notice an improvement in mental health because 1 of these 4 ingredients is used medically in Europe to treat depression. Im 43 and I read up on this a while ago ,it was saying that the best thing you can do is to relax and eat all fruits and veg, drink plenty of water, and exsersise, stop drinking tea ,coffe and alcahol compleatly, eat plenty of honey and drink camomile tea,or any herbal tea ,they are ment to hold good properties, that help every part of your being.
I have suffered panic attachs for 5 years now and since i have payed more attention to my heath i have started to lose weight and feel much better ,and im sure it will help you ,i know its not easy to change everything all at once but choses one thing each week ,and see how it goes ,it can only do you good ,but mostly take time out ror your self,we dont do that enought now days ,well i do it everyday now ,even my kids know not to interupt my time ,i feel much more relaxed and a lot happeir,
remember you have probably had a hard fast track life ,well its now time for more pleasurable things, time to slow down ,take a breather ,go to the pictures ,visit a friend, read a book or as i do listern to stories on tape, which i might add i mostly fall asleep listning to them lol,but a afternoon kip never do no harm in fact it probably helps ,well i wish you well ,take care of yourself and take time too, pamper yourself go on you know you want to,lol.

You might want to consider incorporating soy isoflavones into your diet. Some popular soy products are pill supplements, soy protein powders, and more natural forms of soy such as soymilk (which is also known as soya milk), tofu, tempeh, and soy dairy products. This site http://relievemenopause.blogspot.com has lots of information on natural cures for menopausal symptoms.
